The Liceo Classico Pitagora of Crotone will represent Calabria at the National Debate Championships. The team made up of 4 students: Beatrice Arcuri, Ilenia Ciampà, Arianna Lonetti and Petra Sorgiovanni, led by the coach Prof. Giovanna Ripolo, after having successfully passed the Regional Championships are preparing to compete in the national phase of the Championship included in the annual Program for the enhancement of the excellence of the Ministry of Education and Merit.
“A great victory resulting from important work on the application of the debate methodology that has been taught in our school for years” commented Prof. Natascia Senatore, Head of the High School who stimulated and supported teachers and students along the way.

The motto chosen by the team to compete is “Sapere Aude”, an exhortation that indicates the path towards knowledge that supports the young debaters’ love for culture.
The team will go to Marina di Massa (MC) from 6 to 10 May where the National Championships will be held and will meet the teams from different regions and will compete on prepared themes and Impromptu themes.
