FLORENCE – The Civil Protection Room of the Metropolitan City of Florence reports, for Wednesday 1 May, a yellow code for hydrogeological-hydraulic risk for the entire metropolitan area.

And there is a risk of strong thunderstorms for the areas of Lower Valdarno and Valdelsa-Valdera.

From the evening of today, Tuesday 30 April, precipitation starting from the north-west areas of the region.

Which during the night and morning of tomorrow will tend to extend to the rest of the regional territory

And which may locally take on a downpour or thunderstorm character, especially in the afternoon. Possible strong gusts of wind and local hailstorms.

Maximum caution is recommended, particularly during outdoor activities and driving.

The Tuscany Region (which has issued a yellow code for the entire regional territory), also indicates possible strong gusts of wind and local hailstorms. The sea will be very rough in the archipelago and the southern coast.

For this reason, the regional civil protection operations room has issued, for the entire regional territory, a yellow code for hydrogeological risk and strong storms valid until midnight on Wednesday.
