FAKE, ROE AND DEER: WILD ANIMALS IN VERONA

VERONA – Finding yourself in front of a roe deer, a deer or a fallow deer in recent times is no more a prerogative than a walk in the mountains in silence. Apparently it also happens in Verona.

In the last two weeks there have already been three sightings of similar animals which have occupied the local police. These are wild animals that probably leave their habitat disoriented by sudden temperature changes.

In via Valpantena a roe deer was found injured in the leg, probably from having been hit by a vehicle that drove away. The animal was taken to the headquarters and cared for while awaiting the intervention of the provincial police for subsequent treatment.

In Via Lazzaretto, however, a deer found itself involved in a collision with a car. In this case the provincial police intervened.

However, with the intervention of firefighters and amia operators, a deer in via Quercia was recovered. The animal probably also involved in an accident was dead.
