The health of Trapani airport is also taking with it that of its subsidiaries, starting with Tafas srl, which has assets of half a million euros.
It is the second year that the Airgest spa company, the management company of the Vincenzo Florio airport, has guaranteed a positive balance sheet, marking first level income and financial ratios as well as guaranteeing new employment. Operational since March 2015, Tafs in joint venture with Carboil srl, operates in the management and operation of infrastructures within the airport grounds dedicated to the storage and into-plane, i.e. refueling, of aviation fuels for aircraft.
The Tafs company inside the Trapani Birgi airport benefits from a very modern storage depot, equipped with two tanks with a capacity of 500 cubic meters each and a filtering system, aimed at guaranteeing the total conformity of the Jet A/ product 1, aviation fuel known as kerosene and suitable for most jet aircraft, compared to the high specification standards required by airlines.
