Marco Morandi, son of the beloved Gianni, is the second guest of InCanto d’estate, the musical event organized by the San Venanzo pro loco under the artistic direction of Filippo Pambianco.
Marco Morandi After the announcement of the first guests, Tiromancino, who will perform on Sunday 14 July for the final evening of the event, the organizers have announced the second artist who will liven up Villa Faina on Saturday 13 July. Starting at 9.30pm Marco Morandi will bring to the stage a journey through his favorite songs, ranging among the many singer-songwriters who are part of his world: from Lucio Dalla to Franco Battiato, from Ivano Fossati to his father Gianni. Each song will be a stage of human and artistic growth, songs that the artist cannot do without, those that if he were on a desert island would remind him of the taste of home. Among the songs in the setlist also ‘Centonove’, a tribute to Rino Gaetano published by Morandi in October 2022 to celebrate the musician who influenced the artistic parable more than anyone else.
Summer InCanto Even this year the event will be dedicated to music and good food. Every evening, from 10 to 14 July, there will be a concert and it will be possible to taste some typical specialties of local and Umbrian cuisine. Marco Morandi’s show is free to enter.
