Yamato Judo Boves also reaps satisfaction in Turin

The Turin races in San Francesco al Campo, Sunday 21 April, brought a lot of satisfaction to the «Yamato Judo» from Bovesano, with all its fourteen young participants finishing “on the podiums”. With around two hundred participants, the event was held in a pink-decorated building, given that the second stage of the next cycling “Giro d’Italia” will start from San Francesco.

The tournament was dedicated (memorial trophy) to the brothers Valerio and Manuela Peressotti, who have done so much for judo in that area. The boys, who returned to Boves, were given well-deserved applause on the evening of Wednesday 24th, after the last lesson, in the gym of the Vassallo Middle School, before the break coinciding with the school holidays of the period between 25 April and 1 May (the Association’s activity will restart on Friday 3 May). The Bovesan students followed by the teacher Leonardo Nicosia they collected four first places: Daniel Forneris (children A 2020-2019), Gioele Ghibaudo And Nicolò Carletti (children B 2018-2017) e Celeste Piva (boys 2014-2013).

There were three second places: Matilde Piva (children B 2018-2017), Thomas Avalle (children 2016-2015) e Mirko Giordano (boys 2014-2013). Finally, seven reached third position: Maria Giordano, Enea Corradi And Thomas Clemente (children B 2018-2017), Francesco Cometto (children 2016-2015), Giorgia Varrone And Penelope Corradi (boys 2014-2013) e Mattia Monteverde (rookies 2012-2011).
