The Region has eliminated the deadline set for today, April 30, to give time to join those who are not yet taking advantage of this function
To date, according to data from the Lombardy Region, 50% of citizens with an active profile have activated the service through which it is possible to receive medical prescriptions via SMS and email. An essential step for the digitalisation of healthcare services, which reduces waiting times and travel to physically go to the doctor. The Council has decided to extend the deadline – originally set for today, 30 April – to give more and more people the opportunity to join the service via an online procedure.

Medical prescriptions via smartphone: how to activate the function
The Lombardy Region has made it known that there will be no service interruptions from May 1st for those who have not yet activated the function. To confirm interest and activate sending via SMS or email there are various options: you can access your health record online, select ‘Profile and Settings’ (top right), click on ‘Notifications’ and finally on the item ‘Recipes’ choose to send by SMS or email. Alternatively, you can go to the selection and revocation offices of the relevant ASST, to the General Practitioner/Pediatrician of your choice, or to the pharmacy.
