He will be a technical consultant appointed by court of Lucca to ascertain whether or not the cracks and lesions that appeared in a house in Deccia, in the municipality of Coreglia, were caused by the consolidation and safety works of a landslide above provincial road 38.
THE owners of the property and the land located there both upstream and downstream of the road network they have in fact presented an appeal for a preventive technical assessment to the courtpointing the finger at the jobs and considering them the cause of the cracks who, according to what they claim with their lawyer, would have endangered “the stability and security” of their home.
There procedure activated at the court aims to establish whether or not there is a relationship between the damage reported by the structure and the construction site. And this is why the owners are calling into question the Province of Lucca, owner of the road, but also the companies operating on the construction site, including the designer and construction manager.
The consultant the court will, in particular, have to establish whether there is – as the owners claim – a correlation between the damage to the house and the execution of the consolidation works. In particular – according to the thesis of private individuals, still to be evaluated -, whether the cracks and the cracks were caused by drilling for the installation of micropiles near the land and the house in question.
There procedure activated, in court, it could lead to a compensation case if the technician confirmed some correlation between the construction site and the damages complained of by the owners of the property and land.
After notification of the appeal by the private individuals’ lawyer, the The Province, after an investigation conducted by the internal lawyers, decided to appear in court and entrusted the case to its lawyers, the lawyers Beatrice Mancini and Laura Fiamma, employees of the Palazzo Ducale institution.
