The Carabinieri of the Teramo Investigation Unit carried out a non-custodial precautionary measure against a 50-year-old woman, resident in Martinsicuro, allegedly responsible for the crime of domestic abuse against her husband, cohabitant, 70-year-old, married for 10 years.
The woman was removed from the family home with a ban on approaching the offended person with the affixing of the ‘electronic bracelet’ in compliance with the provisions of the judge for preliminary investigations of the Court of Teramo who fully agreed with the request of the prosecutor’s office with which the facts were reconstructed.
After having listened to some of the man’s neighbors, the employees and the owners of some businesses in the area frequented by the couple and having gathered sufficient elements, the military personnel informed the judicial authority to start investigations coordinated by the Teramo Prosecutor’s Office. The activities of the Carabinieri, coordinated and directed by the Teramo Prosecutor’s Office, would have revealed serious elements of responsibility for the woman’s mistreatment towards her husband. Daily harassing actions with insults, psychological violence but also heavy physical violence. Kicks in the face, slaps, spitting, but also blows to the back of the head with bottles, remote controls and other objects. The man, for several months, suffered and, out of love, also agreed to remain silent.
