HARD ROMANTICS were born in 2022 from the symbiosis between the techno of producer Angelo Ceci and the synth pop of producer Cosimo Cirillo aka Atlas Palace. They draw heavily from both worlds and dance in balance between techno violence and pop melody, hence the name Hard Romantics. Live they perform an electronic set animated by live instruments – drum machine, synth and voice – taking the audience into a dimension halfway between the club and the festival. They are currently busy making their first album.
on May 1st at Santa Geffa Park from 4.00 pm, before Cavo Fest, there will be other concerts organized by Xiao Yan: Billie Hard (rock and roll), Rainbow Bridge (blues rock), Pino Ursi (DJ Set).

“RELEASE DOVE” THE 3D GLITCH ART EXHIBITION OF
ELENA ROMENKOVA

RELEASE DOVE (Release of the Dove) It is Elena Romenkova’s exhibition which, after being exhibited at the Municipal Library of Trani G. Bovio, will move from 25 April to 15 May at QLab, the Basement of BarQ. This OFF space that will host the exhibition is a former Trani disco from the 80s (Freedom, which made the history of Trani’s club culture) transformed by the new management of BarQ into a contemporary exhibition space dedicated to art and music.
Elena Romenkova is an artist from St. Petersburg who lives and works in Vienna, Austria, who will exhibit 10 works selected exclusively for Cavo Fest in Trani.
The exhibition is divided into two Sections, Section 1 is composed of 5 works created by the artist from 2019 to 2024 for the album covers of Marco Cassanelli and Deckard (electronic duo from Trani of which Elena is official designer), Section 2 is composed of 5 unpublished works of very recent production.
The title of the exhibition “Release Dove” which indicates the act of releasing the Dove with the hope of happy events and the wish for peace, plays with the English word “Release” which is the term used to indicate new Record “releases”.
The entire exhibition is created on 80 cm x 80 cm forex panels with new generation non-toxic inks.
Elena Romenkova is an experimental digital glitch art artist, in her art human figures transmute as in cyber punk novels and sci-fi films, organic and inorganic merge and separate, exploring new hybridizations in the relationship between humanity and cars. Elena graduated from Herzen University and has exhibited her work in various exhibitions around the world since 2004.
CAVO FEST SPRING 2024: a series of spring events spread across the city at Santa Geffa Park, the G. BOVIO Municipal Library, BarQ – Basement QLab (EX Freedom, history of Tranese club culture).
The event includes live and DJ sets by various artists, vernissages and art exhibitions by Elena Romenkova.
The choice to hold events at sunset in the spring period will characterize the event in a unique way, deseasonalizing the events that usually take place in the evening and in summer. Thanks to the City of Trani and its cultural institutions, Cavo Fest relaunches the contemporary electronic music festival which has internationalized the brand due to the caliber of the artists who attended as guests and the musical research produced in the context of avant-garde and experimentation.
