Marcello Pittella is running for the European elections in June with Azione. Not even time to catch your breath after the regional election campaign which is back on track for these votes. Carlo Calenda himself announced it: “We asked Marcello Pittella to lead the ‘We are Europeans’ list in the Southern constituency together with us. Marcello is one of the most esteemed and credible political personalities in the South, as also demonstrated by the recent result in the elections Regional, where he reiterated his extraordinary ability to represent that territory.”
“Carlo Calenda and Elena Bonetti asked me on behalf of Action to support the party in the challenge to the European elections, making my name available on the ‘We are Europeans’ list, for the Southern constituency. Even though I have just returned from a tiring campaign for the regional elections , who gave us a responsibility which we will not fail to do, I accepted their request with a spirit of service: the affirmation of a reform force that has the South at heart deserves every effort, and as a party man I will give my contribution .” This was declared by Marcello Pittella, regional councilor and member of the national secretariat of Action.
