Olbia. It is with great anticipation that the community prepares for the first Simpliciano Conference, an event of profound reflection and study dedicated to the figure and history of San Simplicius, patron saint of Gallura and founder of our diocese. The event will take place on May 12th at 5pm at the suggestive Basilica of San Simplicio.

The event will see the participation of illustrious speakers, including Archbishop Gian Franco Saba, a leading figure in the local Church and parishioner of the basilica, who will make a valuable contribution to understanding the historical and spiritual context linked to the Saint.

Alongside him, the Captain of the Guardia di Finanza, Carlo Lazzari, a well-known scholar of classical law, and Professor Don Paolo Pala, a San Simplician professor, will speak, whose knowledge will contribute to shedding new light on the figure of San Simplicio and on the challenges of his time.

He will moderate the interventions Don Giorgio Dianarenowned theologian and head of the University of the Diocese (IEM), an authoritative figure in the local ecclesiastical panorama.
