The Stars of Merit for Work will go to eighteen Umbrian workers and will be awarded on Wednesday on the occasion of the May Day celebrations. The ceremony will be held at 10am in the provincial council room of Perugia and will be presided over by the prefect of Perugia, Armando Gradone, and the prefect of Terni, Giovanni Bruno. Fifteen workers come from the province of Perugia and three from that of Terni
High recognition «The honor of “Master of Work” – recalls the Prefecture in a note – is the highest recognition granted to an employee, which values and rewards those who, in their work, have distinguished themselves through industriousness, expertise and moral rectitude . The decoration of merit is awarded every year to approximately one thousand Italian workers working in Italy and abroad.” Below we publish the names of the 18 winners.
