On a morning conditioned by clouds and a few drops of rain, the Giro-E (the e-bike Giro d’Italia) for the Senigallia-Fano route started from Piazza Garibaldi and continued its tour.
The Giro-E, an important cycling sporting event which takes place on the same days and in the same streets as the Giro d’Italia and which sees as participants anyone who is a cycling enthusiast who wants to take part, and which takes place with pedaled racing bicycles assisted, stopped this morning in Senigallia in Piazza Garibaldi.
A village was set up in the square to surround the event, with music and entertainment preceding the departure of the cyclists scheduled for 12.40pm. The route in this stage of the tour includes the departure from Senigallia and the arrival in Fano. Taking part in the initiative were the President of CONI Marche Fabio Luna, the Deputy Mayor Riccardo Pizzi and the Councilors Elena Campagnolo and Gabriele Cameruccio.
