The focus on the industrial policy dynamics of the area with particular attention to the timing of the battery factory in the Adriatic city, under construction by Acc. The company made up of Stellantis, Mercedes and TotalEnergies and which has agreed with the unions and the government itself the The aim is to hire Stellantis employees present in Termoli as a priority for the new factory. We will therefore start from that basin to train the staff, except for those professional figures that it will not be possible to identify.
The gigafactoru has a total investment of 2 billion euros and according to estimates provided by ACC it should guarantee work for 1800 workers. The process will however be gradual, only in 2028 will the maximum number of employees be reached with a production of 40 gigawatt hours of batteries, the number necessary to activate 800 thousand electric cars every year.
The meeting between the Urso ministry and the governor Roberti is of particular importance, because once again – commented the President of the Region – the attention of the national government has focused on our region and its production potential.
