“We have reached the signatures necessary to present the symbol of Peace, Earth Dignity to the European elections. The minimum number of 15 thousand subscriptions to be able to present itself in the Islands constituency has been reached. As well as the 75 thousand throughout the national territory.
We are currently continuing to collect signatures to reach a margin that will give us maximum security to be present on 8 and 9 June for the European elections.”
Michele Santoro said it in Piazza Verdi in Palermo. And Santoro has few doubts about the help of Salvatore Cuffaro and Cateno De Luca in collecting the signatures necessary to present the symbol.
“I know all the signatures that I collected together with the activists in these days in Sicily – added Santoro – I didn’t ask anyone for help. You saw Totò Cuffaro in this square signing. There’s only us. We will be present to work for peace and against any war and to overcome this continuous emergency against the debt-based economy. If we continue like this there will be no money for public services, schools, healthcare and workers.”
