Events not to be missed only on May 1st

  • The Faida, historical re-enactments, food and wine, medieval market at Romeo and Juliet’s Castles. The Feud ends with the reconciliation between Montague and Capulet. Party until sunset with a rich culinary choice in the historic stalls, merchants and artisans will demonstrate ancient crafts, falconers and fighters will show off their skills.
  • Magnalonga in Bressanvido. A walk among the ancient farms and springs, four stops to be enjoyed with the flavors of the earth, including art, history, nature, typical dishes and products.
  • Spring Festival and cutting of giant mortadella in Piazza Castello. An event that celebrates art and taste, local artists transform the center of Marostica into an open-air art gallery, then there will be the Arrival of the Giant Mortadella, the highlight of the party with the traditional cutting of a maxi -mortadella. This cured meat, produced with the highest quality meat and cooked slowly for over 36 hours to enhance its flavour, will be distributed to participants. The cutting of the mortadella will be a real ritual, performed with skill by an expert, and will be accompanied by the performance of the Monte Grappa Rosà Band.
  • Contrade in Festa in San Tomio di Malo. An opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the area starting with a walk accessible to all, during which you can enjoy a moment of relaxation listening to a fairy tale in the midst of greenery, surrounded by wooden sculptures, lunch break with barbecues and desserts.
  • Bikes and Brenta, the hidden Valsugana. We are used to traveling along it by car, often to go elsewhere, but incredible treasures are hidden among the bends of the Brenta: the Ponte Subiolo lake, the White Elephant cave, the natural caglieroni waterfalls and the Oliero which with its 300 m is one of the shortest rivers in Europe.
  • Path of the Big Trees and Sea del Risso. one of the most enchanting places of the Little Dolomites, a path under the walls of the Three Crosses among pastures, ancient trees and the little-known but wonderful Lake Sea del Risso.
  • Special edition of the Antiques Collectibles & Vintage Market in Vicenza. It is an experience similar to a treasure hunt among the historic squares and streets of Vicenza. Among the main locations we find Piazza dei Signori, Piazzetta Palladio, Contrà Garibaldi (formerly Piazza delle Poste), Piazza Duomo, Piazza Castello, Piazzale De Gasperi and Viale Roma.
  • Meredith Monk in concert, the world famous artist at the Teatro Olimpico. Pioneer of extended vocal technique, of the use of the voice as a true musical instrument and of the interdisciplinary approach to artistic expression, Meredith Monk is an artist in the broadest sense of the term, of undisputed world fame. Between musical compositions, plays, installations, performances and films, over the course of her long career she has created absolutely original visual and sound worlds, located at the intersection of music and movement, light and sound.
