The “Silver Trame” project reaches its fifth edition in 2024. It is aimed at people who are on the list for entry to the accredited and contractual places of the Home Residency for the Elderly of the Union of Terre d’Argine and who are residents in the territories of Carpi, Novi di Modena and Soliera.
The initiative consists in granting contributions to reimburse the expenses incurred for the maintenance of vulnerable people in private residential facilities. The objective is to support those who are waiting for residential placement in the accredited and contractualized places of CRA (Residence Home for the Elderly) with the aim of partially contributing to the costs of assistance.
The current edition is financed by the Cassa di Risparmio di Carpi Foundation and the Unione delle Terre d’Argine
“A Foundation that is close to the needs of the community must be close to the fragile people who constitute it and their families” – Mario Ascari, president of the CR Carpi Foundation, is keen to underline. “The increase in the elderly population calls us to provide tangible and targeted responses. For this reason – explains Ascari – since its debut, we have supported this project developed by the Terre d’Argine and we are continuously supporting it because it is capable of bringing concrete help in the field of welfare where it is needed, alleviating the economic burden of families already stressed by the presence of fragile relatives in need of care.”
All non-self-sufficient people or their representatives (ADS, guardian, family member, etc.), included in one of the three CRA rankings of the district, published by management during the year 2023, can apply. Applicants must be guests, on the date of approval of the rankings themselves, in a private residential facility (Residence Home for the Elderly, Family Home, Hotel Home, Community Accommodation) and must not have benefited from the same contribution in 2023. During 2023, 31 grant applications have already been accepted, of which 27 in the municipality of Carpi, 2 in Soliera and 2 in Novi di Modena.
