LADISPOLI – It was presented as “a flagship of urban redevelopment and sustainable mobility” and then revealed itself as “a colossal failure”. Again the spotlight is on the “discord” cycle path. The work is progressing. Having completed construction in via Venezia (where dozens and dozens of parking spaces have been “swallowed up”) citizens are now wondering where the red route will continue “its path”: in the direction of viale Italia or towards via Rapallo, thus complicating traffic in front of the school. And once again the opposition councilors Amelia Mollica Graziano and Ferdinando Cervo intervene on the topic. «The continuous changes to the project – they say – without real involvement of citizens and without a constructive discussion with all the political forces, demonstrate the inability of this administration to listen and plan with criteria, ignoring the needs of the majority, to favor the interests of a few. We are fed up – they thunder – the people are fed up. Tired of seeing their needs denied and their dignity trampled upon. This administration continues to consider citizens as subjects to be subjugated and defrauded. We don’t fit in. We must all raise a cry of protest against these continuous abuses. Ladispoli cannot continue to be hostage to a “circle of integrated plans” which only serve to cement the territory and empty the municipal coffers. It’s time to move on! Ladispoli needs a competent, far-sighted administration that places the well-being of our city and respect for the territory at the center. Ladispoli is ours, everyone’s. It’s time to take it back.”
