The agenda promoted by Ugo Sturlese aims to transmit the three proposals of the majority councilor Silvano Enrici to avoid making traffic unsustainable in the center of the hamlet.

Wedge. At this evening’s City Council meeting the New city hospitalwhich according to the Public Private Partnership project will be built where the Carle Hospital is currently located, in the hamlet of Confreria. Among the agendas of today’s meeting, in fact, there is also the one presented by the Cuneo councilor for common goods Ugo Sturlesewhich invites the administration to deliver to the director of the Hospital Health Authority Livio Tranchida, to Anas and to the Province of Cuneo the proposals launched over the last few months by the majority councilor Silvano Enrici to prevent the center of the hamlet from being clogged with traffic once the new gigantic structure is inaugurated.

Via del Carle is already one of the most congested in Confreria, and even the local committee (where Enrici himself lives) has expressed strong concerns on what could happen with the increase in vehicular traffic, in particular for the heavy vehicles of construction companies. So the majority councilor launched three proposals to reduce the volume of vehicles that would cross the hamlet. The first hinges on East-West roundabout, which offers direct access for those arriving from the plateau; the second predicts another access for those arriving from Cuneo in Confreria to be built on the land of Count Baudi di Selve on the South-West side near the current Carie Hospital; the third to be implemented with a connection from Cuneo to Confreria from the Soleri Viaduct with access to a public car park located on the north side also on land owned by Count Baudi of Selve.
