The ‘Cammino del Patto’ is officially born, the new cycle/pedestrian ring route of approximately 31 km which allows you to connect the 6 municipalities (Cumignano Sul Naviglio, Genivolta, Romanengo, Ticengo, Trigolo And Salvirola) who collaborated in the Community Pact “Making Ties by Water and Land” and created thanks to the activity of some volunteers who in the last year traced and reported the itinerary, identified by directional signage made up of over 40 warning signs distributed along the route
The ‘Path of the Pact’ will be presented on Thursday 16 May at 9.00 pm in the Council Hall of the Municipality of Ticengoduring a meeting open to all citizens and administrators, with a special invitation to those responsible for Info point And Pro Locovolunteers from associations and more generally to all those who care about the environmental and tourism development of the area and the care of relationships in the community.
The ‘Community Pact’, which involves the voluntary associations present in the 6 municipalities involved, has worked to increase connections, synergies and collaborations between citizens and the territory, between the associations themselves and the administrations, enhancing the social fabric and the environmental and cultural heritage.
The planning activities of the route were carried out over the last year also thanks to the contribution of the “Otto per Mille” fund of the Waldensian Church and with the operational support of CSV Lombardia Sud ETS and of Crema Social Community. The implementing subject was the“La Libellula APS” Association, who had already taken care of the development of the Community Pact in recent years with various territorial animation actions.
“The Path of the Pact is an experience which, if appropriately conveyed, can be an opportunity for development for the territory and for the communities involved.” – He says Agostino Barbieri Community Pact volunteer – “The opportunities range from the increase in green resources to the expansion of human relations connected to the waterways that cross the territories concerned, which must not be seen as mere resources for irrigation, but as real paths on which water flows. human relationships linked to the territory.”
The work carried out was carried out in strong harmony with the local administrations, as confirmed by the words of Daniela Brognoli mayor of Ticengo “The Community Pact Walk is a cycle-pedestrian itinerary immersed in nature, alongside waterways and created thanks to the various associations in collaboration with the municipal administrations. It is a pact that has allowed citizens to create new bonds and consolidate existing ones. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to deepen our knowledge of our territory both on a naturalistic and cultural level.”
