The hall and the surrounding street “saw a great participation of citizens” for the inauguration of the headquarters of the Modena Cambia-anti-war list together with the mayoral candidate Daniele Giovanardi, the frontrunner Beatrice De Maio and the other candidates.
The list’s program will be presented to citizens on Wednesday 8 May, once the collection of subscriptions has been completed. “This is a very complex program – explain the promoters – which will have its strong points in healthcare, in an innovative proposal for the local economy, in the change of direction on waste management, in attention to the safety problem but will also the question of freedom of expression and other issues that concern the life of the people of Modena”.
The office in via San Cristoforo 36 on the corner of via Canalino will remain open starting Tuesday from 8.45pm onwards for information and to collect signatures.
In the presentation of his candidacy in recent weeks Giovanardi had underlined how “in Modena there is a lot to say: from culture to healthcare, with endless waiting lists, to often wild immigration, to traffic. Schools no longer teach children come to think of it, they use cell phones too much.”
