The precedents and statements of Indians
Arezzo – Sestri Levante is unprecedented: the two teams have never faced each other at the Città di Arezzo. The only precedent, which ended 0-0, was the first leg, which was played in Vercelli behind closed doors due to the unavailability of the Sivori stadium in Sestri Levante. Arezzo haven’t won in four games. The latest triumph was against Fermana on March 24th with goals from Catanese and Gucci. Sestri, mathematically safe, comes from the victory against Vis Pesaro in the last round.
In presenting the challenge, Indiani stated: “It will be a difficult match, the opponents play excellent football and will be carefree. We will do everything we can to get to 53 points and play the first playoff game at home, but it doesn’t just depend on us. It’s a shame about the unlucky match against Juve Under 23“.
