Adrian Bernabé, Parma’s talent who scored a brace today in the 4-0 win against Lecco, spoke at the press conference. These are his words reported by Parmalive.com.
“I’m happy for having scored, it’s been a long time since I found the goal. Football is like this, I played 5/6 attacking midfield games and I didn’t score, today I scored two goals in front of the defence. I’m happy with the team’s performance and for the three points”.

They don’t give up behind:
“There are tough teams behind us, but we have to look at ourselves. If we win them all we will reach our goal. Today we scored two goals quickly and everything was simpler, but we have always had an excellent attitude, even in other matches”.

You’ve never felt like you’re falling short:
“We are a very strong group, all friends and with trust between us. We have always been positive, even when we drew or lost. Someone from the outside may get nervous, but we always have faith because we are strong.”

Missing so much:
“I see 9 points, a lot is missing.”

Remember Florence’s goal, the first of today:
“In Florence it was a little more complicated. We work on high pressure, then a good play from Hernani and Bonny and I found the net.”

Do you look at the opponents if they play the day before?
“We watch a lot of matches, but we know we only have to look at ourselves. If we win we reach the goal.”

Why this renewal after the summer one?
“It makes me very happy because I am very attached to Parma. I am really very happy.”

You expected a tougher Lecco today?
“In the first leg we lost 3-2 and we knew it was the last resort for them. Everyone here at the Tardini wants to play a great match because there is a great crowd and a beautiful pitch, but we did well to find two quick goals and we put the game downhill.”

Do you prefer to play three-quarters or in the middle of the pitch?
“Today I’ll tell you further. I feel good in any position where the coach needs me. I feel good, the important thing is to always give 100% for the team and run after the ball.”

This further renewal is a life choice:
“I’ve said it many times that I felt at home here. Everyone has always made me feel very good and I feel very comfortable in the city. It’s a second home for me. I have a dream which is to go to Serie A, we have to do it with work and we are focused on this.”
