PISTOIA – Road accident on the night between Friday 26 and Saturday 27 April 2024 in the Pistoia area where a car with hybrid power, for reasons currently under investigation, went off the road, remaining balanced between the road and the stream below. The driver managed to get out of the cockpit on his own, fortunately unharmed. The Fire Brigade intervened this morning in Ponte Buggianese for the complex recovery of the car, stuck between the guardrail and the Rio Pescina below.
Precisely due to the particularity of the car’s position and the difficulties in recovering it, the intervention of the Montecatini Terme fire brigade team was necessary who, assisted by a crane from the Prato command, carried out the recovery. Personnel from the Municipal Police of Ponte Buggianese were present on site and ensured the management of the road system.
