With a presence that touches altitude 70 thousand members they represent a significant slice of the economic and financial fabric of our province. They are the eight cooperative credit banks linked to the Brescia area, which, annually, within the first half of the year, call together their members to submit the previous year’s budget for their approval and share with them projects and actions for the future, as well as than to strengthen a bond. And also for all the Brescia mutual banks the assembly is also an opportunity to celebrate its members.
May will, therefore, be the month in which “our” cooperative credit banks will hold meetings which, in all eight cases, will be held in person, thus leaving behind (hopefully definitively) the season of meetings distance due to Covid.
The point
Each bank has already sent invitations for the first and second meetings of the meetings, although the one that will actually see the large number of members present will be the second day set for the annual meeting, as shown in the table.
To open the dance, Sunday 5 May, a triptych: Agrobresciano, Bcc Garda and Bcc del Basso Sebino. Last, in chronological order, Saturday 18 May Cassa Padana and the Bcc of Brescia. In the middle, on Saturday 11 May, the trio represented by Cassa Rurale e Artigiana di Borgo San Giacomo, Cassa Padana and Btl – Lombardy Territory Bank. And the day before, Friday 10th, it will be the turn of Cassa Rurale Adamello Giudicarie Valsabbia Paganella, which, despite having its headquarters in Tione, in the province of Trento, still has deep and solid roots in Brescia, especially in Valsabbia. And right at the cinema-theatre of Villanuova sul Clisi there will be the possibility of attending the assembly via videoconference, as a sign of an ideal bridge between the Valsabbia and Trentino worlds.
At the top
Only for one of the cooperative credit banks, the Bcc del Garda, will the corporate offices be renewed for the next three-year term: only one list has been presented, in continuity with the corporate top management and an expression of the current governance which sees Franco Tamburini as the president and Massimiliano Bolis the general director.
Instead, for another banking institution, the Cra of Borgo San Giacomo2024 coincides with an important milestone: i 130 years of lifehaving been founded on 7 October 1894 when the first members, coordinated by Don Serafino Saleri, parish priest of the town of Bassa since 1870, gave life to the Cassa Rurale di Prestiti in Borgo San Giacomo.
