On Saturday 4 May, the celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Libera, in Pratola Peligna, will open with a special event live on television and online, allowing faithful around the world to participate in this ancient celebration.
The live broadcast, which will begin at 10am, will be hosted by Ennio Bellucci and Rosa Gargiulo and will be broadcast on various local television channels, including channel 168 Fascino TV and channel 90 Onda Tv Sulmona. Furthermore, it will also be available in streaming on the Facebook pages of the Maria Santissima della Libera Parish and the Madonna della Libera Festival Committee, as well as on the parish’s YouTube channel.
During the broadcast, viewers will be able to follow the Rosary, the exposition of the Statue of the Madonna, the Holy Mass presided over by Father Agostino Piovesan and the procession of the “Valle Madonna” district. This event not only offers a time of devotion and tradition for the local community, but also represents an opportunity for believers from around the world to participate spiritually in this celebration.
The president of the Madonna della Libera celebrations committee, Raimondo Onesta, underlined the importance of this initiative, highlighting how it allows people who are sick or residing abroad to participate in the sacred rites. At a time when virtual connection has become a fundamental bridge for overcoming distances, this live broadcast is a moment of union and solidarity for the religious community.
In addition to the religious dimension, the celebrations will also offer shows and entertainment for three weeks, keeping alive the tradition of uniting faith with celebration and joy. This year, more than ever, we have worked to ensure that the community can share moments of joy, reflection and prayer, demonstrating the strength of solidarity and tradition.
