From this it flowed a chase which ended in viale Moncada where the two fugitives, forced to stop, they got out of the vehicle and ran away. The driver was caught and immediately blocked while the passenger managed to escape.
At that point the police decided to carry out a personal search, which was then also extended to the vehicle, which allowed them to find, near the driver’s side door, a wrapper with a hashish-type narcotic substance inside, for a total weight of 90 grams. , he had tried to get rid of.
The car used for the escape turned out to be of furtive origin, as it was removed the previous night in Misterbianco, inside a condominium garage.
The arrested person was identified, at the offices of the Scientific Police, as a 27-year-old convicted felon of Padua origins and resident in Caltanissetta, subjected to the prevention measure of the obligation to reside in the municipality of residence.
He was arrested for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing and reported in a state of freedom for receiving stolen goods and violating the residence obligation.
