The race for the office of mayor of the city of Bari will no longer be three, but four. Sabino Mangano is running, or rather is running again, for mayor of the Apulian capital. This time not among the ranks of the 5 Star Movement, as happened in 2014 when he gained a place within the Bari City Council, but with the civic movement Oltre and other entities such as Antonio Ingroia’s Civil Action, Active Participation, Com.Re and FronteVerde. Mangano himself announced his candidacy with a post on social media. “Here we are – he writes on Facebook presenting the logo of “Oltre-Movimenti civici associati -, it is an honor for me to represent, together with Oltre, important civic communities. But the Bari traders’ associations, environmental protection associations and local citizens’ associations and committees have already given their support – he concludes -. In short, after Michele Laforgia, candidate of La Convention and supported by the M5S of which Sabino Mangano was part until August 2023, Vito Leccese candidate of the PD and Fabio Romito on the Lega front, Mangano is the fourth candidate for the office of mayor of Bari in the next administrative elections which will take place on 8 and 9 June.
