“An oversight on the part of the current centre-right council”: this is how the civic list ‘RinnoviAmo Forlì’, which supports the centre-left mayoral candidate Graziano Rinaldini, judges the elimination of the bus shelter in Piazza Saffi. “Public money is wasted by dismantling what is functional and the bus transport service towards the historic center is weakened. This error – states Prof. Antonio Morgagni, candidate on the list – confirms the lack of a coherent vision and planning with respect to the center historic on the part of this council”.
The list note specifies that this operation is contrary to the “dignity of the passengers. The latter in fact first waited under a canopy that protected them from the sun and rain, sitting on the benches”. Furthermore, following the removal “it can be foreseen that there will be fewer and fewer users who will use the buses to the historic center. You can already notice passengers waiting standing or sitting on the steps of the Post Office and the Revenue Agency, even risking an administrative sanction”.
Morgagni adds that “all municipal spaces where a public service is offered are normally equipped with a waiting room equipped with chairs. The mistake of the Zattini council was to remove the ‘waiting room’ in Piazza Saffi. particularly conservative political vision which encourages the use of cars with the reconfirmation of the asphalt on Corso della Repubblica”.
