NEPTUNE | LATINA – The 64-year-old Rita Combi disappeared last Sunday 21 April from Nettuno, whose lifeless body was found yesterday, 25 April, in the countryside of Latina, between Borgo Baisizza and Borgo Santa Maria.
The searches began immediately, also through social media, especially because the woman needed insulin therapy.
Her case was also addressed by the Rai television program “Chi l’ha visto?”, where the woman’s partner intervened.
Yesterday afternoon, April 25, a resident reported the presence of a gold-colored Lancia Musa with a sunroof at the end of a dirt road. He thought it had been stolen.
Instead it was the woman’s car.
This discovery immediately led the research to focus on the adjacent area. The Fire Brigade, the agents of the State Police of the Latina Police Headquarters and the Civil Protection volunteers of the Passo Genovese OdV group rushed to the scene, alerted by the regional operations room.
In particular, the body was identified by a Fire Brigade helicopter.
According to what was established by the medical examiner, Mrs Combi had already been dead for several hours.
The body was made available to the Judicial Authority to proceed with medical-legal examinations in order to clarify the exact causes of death.
The investigations were entrusted to police officers directed by Police Commissioner Raffaele Gargiulo.
At the moment, no hypothesis has been formulated regarding the causes of death and it is not clear whether signs of wounds or beatings were found on the woman’s body…
