Casoria: baby gangs armed with knives patrol the squares

Casoria

In Piazza San Paolo, in Casoria, where last weekend the nightlife turned into brawls, the baby gangs continue to reign supreme.

Once again a resident, turning to the deputy of the Green-Left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli, documented the situation.

This time there is no violence but, as can be seen in the video, among the groups of children, between 13 and 15 years old, there is one, with the hood of his sweatshirt pulled down over his head, who is swinging a knife butterfly.

“We need to intervene to restore security and also act on the families of these children left free to roam the streets armed” – declares Borrelli with the Europa Verde municipal councilor Salvatore Iavarone – “What is a boy doing with a knife like that? Above all, will he be ready to use it against someone who may have looked at him wrong?

We have been too lenient up to now, and after the complaints about the last brawl nothing has changed. Now we need to change our method and take the streets out of the hands of these gangs before other tragedies occur.”
