Like every year in this period the appointment with the tax return returns. In fact, from May it will be possible to process and send the declarations for those who will use the 730/2024 form, to declare the income received in 2023 and to quickly receive any IRPEF refund due. From this year there are two main innovations for who will use the 730 model:
- Those who wish to receive any refund directly from the tax agency without going through the employer will be able to use the WITHOUT SUBSTITUTE option, which until last year was reserved for those who had no tax substitute during the declaration periods ( loss of job etc). From this year even those who have an employment relationship will be able to decide to have the reimbursement directly from the agency, which will take place as expected in other years starting from 15 December
It will be possible to declare some income situations for which it was previously necessary to present the PF INCOME form, for example to declare certain capital income from foreign sources subject to substitute tax; or fulfill the obligations relating to investments abroad and foreign activities of a financial nature by way of property or other real right and determine in relation to them the substitute taxes due (IVAFE, IVIE and crypto-asset tax);
For those who will use form 730 for their tax return, we also remind you of the reimbursement times, in case of inclusion of the withholding tax (which can also be the INPS in case of receipt of Unemployment)
- Declarations sent by June 20th will receive a refund on the JULY paycheck for employees (August for pensioners or Naspi recipients).
- Declarations sent AFTER June 20th will receive a refund on the AUGUST paycheck for employees (September for pensioners or Naspi recipients).
The final deadline for sending the tax return with Form 730 2024 is set for next September 30th. After that date, only the PF Income model (formerly Unico model) can be used, which provides for reimbursement 18/24 months after sending the declaration.
