Civitavecchia – The councilor for social services Zacchei: “It will transport cancer patients for radiotherapy treatments to the hospitals of the capital also in the green belt”
Civitavecchia – We receive and publish – The municipal council of Civitavecchia has decided to grant free legal aid in favor of the Adamo Onlus Aps (Home Association for Assistance for Oncological Patients) in relation to the collection of funds, through a certified Crowdfunding platform, for the purchase of a hybrid minibus for the transport of cancer patients for radiotherapy treatments in the capital’s hospitals.

“The Adamo is equipped with Euro 4 and Euro 5 vehicles, which will be prohibited from entering the Green Belt – explained the councilor for social services Deborah Zacchei, promoter of the project -, for this reason, requested by the president Massimiliano Riccio, I I’m busy trying to give an answer to the need to equip ourselves with a new vehicle. Thanks to the offices, which worked on the planning of the project with Dr. Sabrina Bodò, we have opened this crowdfunding platform, which will be controlled by the municipal administration and we invite all citizens to give even a small contribution which can contribute to a great result for the good of all.”
President Riccio, on behalf of Adamo, thanked councilor Zacchei who strongly supported this project, the mayor and the entire administration for their support: “Purchasing a new hybrid minibus will allow us to transport the sick without incurring limitations of access to the “green belts”. This project is aimed at citizens, industrialists, foundations, banking and financial organisations, associations… As the councilor said, the platform will guarantee total transparency of contributions and will remain open until 31 December, but if the target of 55- 60 thousand euros will be reached before there will be no need to reach the end of the year.”
