Polisportiva Carso, Iazzetta: “Match prepared in the best way”

Christian Iazzetta striker of Carso Sports Centre and winner of the Top 5+1 contest of the twenty-fifth round of the championship, he became the protagonist in the first play-off round thanks to a brace that contributed to the final 1-3 victory against Lodigiani. Christian spoke like this about his season and the next match in the quarter-finals against Savio:

Hi Christian, how do you think this season has gone so far?

“The championship went very well, we managed to reach our goal which was to reach the play offs. It won’t be easy but we have all it takes to do something important.”

Let’s now move on to the 0-3 against Lodigiani in the twenty-fifth round, what were your emotions in scoring an important goal for the final victory?

“I am very happy with my goal because thanks to it I was able to help the team win that match. The match was very close between two teams fighting for every ball.”

Yesterday the first round of the play offs was played against Lodigiani, won 1-3 thanks to your brace, how did you prepare for this match and how did it go?

“We prepared for the match in the best possible way, training all week giving our all. Initially there was a bit of suffering, then once we returned to the changing rooms we found our concentration again and thanks to it I managed to score two goals and with the goal from my teammate Menniti we brought the result to 1-3″.

At the beginning of the season the objective was the play offs, now have you set yourself a second goal to reach?

“Our second goal was to get to the final stages of these play offs, now we hope to get as far as possible.”

The next opponent will be Savio, what do you expect from them and from this match?

“I know them as a team even though they weren’t in our group, but we know that it will be a very hard-fought match between two teams that fight and play well. We know that they finished first but we feel like we are a very prepared team that can compete with anyone.”

One last question on a personal level, how do you think your season has been with 14 goals scored so far?

I think my season was good, I came back from an injury halfway through the championship and I had some good responses to my injury with good performances, so I’m very satisfied but it’s not over yet.”
