A face and a voice for Caterina Sforza and an entire weekend dedicated to the Tiger of Romagna. The Imola Experience Association presented Anna Minardi to the public, a historical re-enactor and seamstress who will be the face of Caterina this year. The president of the Primola Association presented the complete program of activities that will be offered to the public from children’s workshops to workshops, from concerts to exhibitions in the “Caterina Days” scheduled for tomorrow and Sunday. It will be a weekend dedicated to the celebration of local culture, art and tradition. On 27 and 28 April, the “Originaria” event, organized by Primola, and the “Caterina Days”, organized by the Imola Experience association, will take place in the evocative Chiostri dell’Osservanza and in the adjacent friars’ garden in via Venturini 2, offering a compelling and challenging experience for all participants.

Craftsmen at the cloister

“Originaria” is a market that celebrates the best of local craftsmanship and art. At the Chiostri dell’Osservanza, visitors will have the opportunity to discover a varied selection of unique artisan products, ranging from ceramics to glass, from wood to fabric, from clothing to home furnishings, and much more, all made by talented artists and craftsmen from the area. There will be over 50 exhibitors including artisans, creatives, designers, bloggers and sector operators who promote unique objects that are the result of ingenuity and creativity. The setting of the Cloisters of Observance will be the right place to indulge in a bit of shopping among particular and absolutely original items. During the weekend it will be possible to participate in workshops and laboratories for adults and children and for the occasion entertainment moments with live music will be organised.

Meanwhile, the “Caterina Days” will offer an immersion in the history and tradition of Imola, with historical re-enactments, conferences that celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the city while also hosting an exhibition of paintings curated by the Imola Painters and Sculptors association. Educational camps where participants will be able to immerse themselves in ancient traditions with activities such as cosmetics, dressing, fencing, the exhibition of goldsmith artefacts made by the Arezzo school and the ancient bow tournament will be just some of the activities offered during the weekend. The initiative is open to the public and with free entry, Saturday 27th from 10am to 10pm and Sunday from 10am to 7pm at the Chiostri dell’Osservanza in via Venturini, 2 in Imola.

The event will take place even in case of bad weather.
