Wheels in History returns to the Treviso area to offer a new exclusive appointment also for the 2024 season of the prestigious car rally born from the precious collaboration between ACI Historical And Automobile Club of Italy.
Sunday 28 April, with theAutomobile Club of Trevisochaired by Michele Beni and with the direction of Angelo Raffaele Centolathe motoring-cultural event is preparing to offer a tourist route full of unique experiences to discover the village of Cison di Valmarino locality, the latter, belonging to the “Most beautiful villages in Italy” and which since 2019 has boasted the tourist-environmental quality mark of “Orange flag” awarded by the Italian Touring Club.

-“New appointment for knowledge and valorisation of the territory with ACI Treviso – the President of the Institution wanted to underline, Michele Beni – the village of Cison di Valmarino is a jewel to discover” -.

Also on this occasion the main protagonists of the event were the wonderful ones vintage cars which with their history become a manifesto of the technical and technological evolution in the motoring field, a continuously growing sector which, with the presence and value of historic cars, never ceases to underline the importance of these “diamonds of the past”, museums on four wheels and steeped in history to tell and pass on. Among the cars expected for the appointment on 28 April with AC Treviso, as always, are models with undisputed charm such as a 1957 Ford Zephir, a 1996 Dodge Viper Rt10, a Lancia Fulvia 1.3 Rallye, a 1998 BMW ZT3 , a 1956 Austin Healey and a 1936 Fiat Topolino.

Participants in the event will meet in the morning at Monastier and, after checks and accreditations, they will head towards Cison di Valmarino. Located in the northern part of the Province of Treviso also known as Trevigiana brandthis town of just over 2,000 inhabitants derives from a fortification of 12th century, of which it preserves many testimonies. The municipality also hosts the Brandolini castlecalled Castelbrando, and is crossed by the renowned and spectacular “water ways”. In addition to its ancient and medieval charm and its historical beauty, this village will also offer participants in Wheels in History breathtaking natural views, all to be explored.

PLAN:
8.30 am: Meeting in Monastier, Piazza della Vittoria.
9.00 am: Checks and distribution of materials to the participating crews.
11.00 am: Arrival in Cison di Valmarino, Piazza Roma.
11.30 am: Guided tour of the village.
1.00 pm: Lunch at Agriturismo La Dolza, Via La Dolza 7, Follina.
3.00 pm: Awards ceremony and greetings.
