The financiers of the Gico of the economic-financial police unit of L’Aquila, under the direction of the public prosecutor’s office of Teramo, have executed a precautionary custody order in prison against a person under investigation for the crime of illegal manufacturing of Weapons.
The order was issued by the judge for preliminary investigations at the Court of Teramo. The judicial police investigations, which lasted a few months, were complex and allowed the seizure of 9 “clandestine” firearms, various ammunition, as well as the identification of the laboratory used by the arrested person and the seizure of the related equipment.
The activity conducted by the Fiamme Gialle dell’Aquila, carried out with the aid, in the final phase, of personnel from the Carabinieri of Giulianova, saw the use of multiple investigative techniques and tools as well as search activities and observation, which allowed us to identify and reconstruct the illicit activities perpetrated by the recipient of the order.
