The Municipality and the Equal Opportunities Council support the “Free Cycle” initiative
ALESSANDRIA – The M5S Alessandria, the Municipality of Alessandria and the Municipal Equal Opportunities Council present “Free cycle”.

The idea of the M5S
The experimentation consists of free distribution of sanitary padsthrough the installation of mechanical devices in female toilets, to students attending the ‘Galilei’ scientific high school.
The supply will be managed by the specialized company Initial, which will take care of the supply of hygiene products and the maintenance of the dispensers throughout the 2024/2025 school year. The pilot project will be monitored with the intent to extend it in the coming years to all the educational institutions in the area that intend to join. At the same time, the Municipality will promote awareness events on the topic with the relevant stakeholders, organizing training meetings within the school walls.

Stimulating young people to discuss by providing them with data, information and clarifications.
