Cagliari Spring | Not just character: confirmation of the rossoblù’s growth in Florence

Character, personality, desire. These are terms that we often hear when talking about the world of football. Sometimes due to their absence, others because they end up becoming them quality that can make a difference. Forces that, if they know how to channel them in the best way, can be the perfect allies to look forward to the future with serenity and confidence. And that they bring with them the ability to react to adversity. If the latter were transformed into a philosophical vision for fun, Fabio Pisacane would certainly be one of the greatest exponents on the subject. With this modus operandi, in fact, the Cagliari Spring he was able to once again impose not only the strength of his own ideas but also strengthened the unity of purpose of a group that appears increasingly solid and mature.

Don’t just call it character

However, defining Cagliari Primavera solely through the strength of character and the group would be too simplistic. In reality, behind it, as often underlined on more than one occasion this season by Mister Pisacane, there is a long journey made up of learning ideas, consolidating what has already been done and maturity in approaching a project in the best possible way. However, the championship is as complex as that of Primavera 1. The growth achieved by the young rossoblù players this year is evident and is there for all to see. The salvation obtained last year on the last day in that of Frosinone thanks to the duo Vinciguerra-Sulev it now seems to be a distant memory compared to that which has now been acquired with full hands for some time with tranquility and without any shivers whatsoever in this season. The current ninth place in the standings at 44 points with two days to go before the end of the championship represents a further step forward for a team like the rossoblù U19, which has been able to improve but also get up in some complicated moments of its journey, without ever lose sight of the goal. The 2-1 comeback away against Florentine it was yet another demonstration of constant growth for Captain Carboni and his associates. Obviously there was respect for an opponent of quality and level like the Viola by Daniele Galloppa, fresh winner of the Italian Cup in the category, but what prevailed more than anything else was the irrepressible desire to continue to amaze. The right mix between these two things, in addition to a good dose of healthy madness which can never be missing at these levels, has allowed Cagliari Primavera to achieve the feat and in this way bring home the twelfth success of the season. On the shields, in particular, among the rossoblù ranks, Michele Carboni (author of a goal and an assist) and a Alessandro Bolzan who finally seems to have found his ideal dimension since his arrival in Sardinia in the January transfer window, with two consecutive goals which earned him four important points in the last two against Lecce and Fiorentina.

Think positive

The Fiorentina exam was brilliantly passed with flying colors and now only two are missing from obtaining the degree, which will thus allow the Cagliari Primavera to once again present itself at the starting line of the next Primavera 1 with a richer and richer baggage of experience an even greater awareness of one’s means. First, however, there is space to conclude the tournament in the best possible way. The first match to be circled in red between now and the end will be the one – the last in this championship to be played within the friendly walls of Assemini – against Genoa of the ex Alessandro Agostini, which has heavily relaunched its candidacy for the last playoff spot after obtaining three victories in the last three games played in the championship against Fiorentina, Verona and Juventus. The last act, however, for the rossoblù will be away againstHellas Verona. The guiding spirit for Cagliari Primavera, as declared by Mister Pisacane after the match against Fiorentina, is that of ‘never being satisfied’ and it is from here that the Sardinians want to start again to continue growing, between the present and the future.
