Two waste vandals caught in a few days by mobile camera traps supplied to the associated local police of the Middle Polesine. This is the important result achieved in terms of combating rubbish abandonment, unfortunately an extremely current phenomenon. This is not the only good news, however: in fact, at least three fixed stations will soon be created in the territory of the Municipalities of the convention, in addition to the portable camera traps, capable of detecting episodes of this type, enabling the staff to to intervene immediately.
Important technological equipment which, therefore, proves to be fundamental in the fight against illegality. Instrumentation that it was possible to acquire, as well as it was possible to train staff in its usethanks to the associated nature of the service, which allows you to share resources and achieve important economies of scale.
What also makes the difference is the great knowledge of the territory of the women and men of the local police engaged every day on the road: their choice to position, in fact, the portable camera trap in the Canalnovo area made the difference, allowing us to identify two people responsible for the abandonment. For them, now, the consequences will be heavy: in fact, reporting is also expected, as this behavior has recently become of criminal importance.
