High pressure returns to Sicily and brings improvements in weather conditions. Day with fog and clouds but the sun also comes out. These are the forecasts for Friday 26 April.
Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, the Ionian coast, the southern coast, on the Apennines and inland areas, mostly partly cloudy or partly cloudy skies, except for greater variability in the central hours of the day. Weak winds from the south-eastern quadrants attenuating and rotating to the south-eastern quadrants.

Temperatures on the island remain stationary. Highs between 17 and 22 degrees. 19 degrees are expected in Agrigento, 18 in Caltanissetta, 21 in Catania, 17 in Enna, 19 in Messina, 20 in Palermo, 20 in Ragusa, 22 in Syracuse, 17 in Trapani.
In the rest of Italy
North. The atmosphere is not yet stable over our regions and in fact the day will pass with a very cloudy or even overcast sky. There will be precipitation especially in the North-West, less likely but still possible albeit weak, in the North-East. New temperature drop in the west. The winds will blow from the southern quadrants, the seas will be little rough.
Center and Sardinia. The pressure is slowly increasing in our regions, but despite this the atmosphere will not yet be stable. If in the morning the sky will be slightly or irregularly cloudy, during the afternoon the increasingly compact clouds may cause precipitation which will alternate with clearings or dry breaks. Winds will blow from the southern quadrants, rough seas.
South and Sicily. The pressure is starting to increase in our regions and so the day will be characterized by largely dry weather, in fact the sky will be slightly or irregularly cloudy. Only a little instability in the afternoon in Cilento should be noted where there may be occasional rainfall. Winds that will blow from the southern quadrants. Mild climate.
Saturday 27 April
High pressure strengthens with stable and sunny weather everywhere. Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, the Ionian coast, the southern coast, on the Apennines and inland areas, mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day. Moderate winds from the south-eastern quadrants rotating to the north-eastern quadrants.
Lower Tyrrhenian Sea from almost calm to slightly rough; choppy channel; Sea of Sicily from rough to very rough.North. Atmosphere not yet stable, but pressure slowly begins to increase. The day will pass with often very cloudy or at times overcast skies. There will also be rain and local thunderstorms which will mostly affect the western sectors, they will be less likely in the Northeast. Winds from the southern quadrants (Scirocco), very rough Ligurian Sea.
Center and Sardinia. The pressure increases more decisively over our regions and so on this day, apart from some scattered precipitation over northern Tuscany, the sky will be slightly or irregularly cloudy all the time. Mild climate. The winds will blow Sirocco and will make the Tyrrhenian Sea very rough and the Adriatic rough. In Sardinia, more overcast skies in the morning.
South and Sicily. The subtropical anticyclone dominates our regions and as a result the day will be characterized by general good weather conditions, in fact the sun will have no major problems shining in a sky that will be predominantly clear or at most slightly cloudy. Weak winds from variable directions, the seas will be little rough. Mild climate everywhere.
