The University of Palermo has published a public competition notice for the hiring of 30 workers agricultural, indefinitely and on a 50% part-time basis and with a category B3 position – General and Technical Services Area.
Of the 30 places, 5 are to be allocated to the experimental fields of the University of Palermo which are located in the province of Agrigento.
In general, the selected figure is called upon to carry out field activities, both manually and with agricultural equipment suitable for the management of soil processing relating to the installation of experimental devices and agricultural species typical of the Mediterranean area.
Furthermore, he must be able to use small scientific equipment for plant and soil surveys.
To participate in the selection, possession of the following is required requirements general:
– lower secondary education diploma (middle school diploma) plus professional qualification relating to the position up for selection. The professional qualification can be deduced from the secondary education diploma (high school) or from having served in the profile advertised, at a university or a public research body, even on a non-continuous basis, for a number of days not less than 151 in the last 5 years;

– have matured experiencein particular a length of service in the advertised profile of at least 101 days, even if not continuous, at a university or a public research body.
The selection consists of two exams: a practical test and a subsequent theoretical-practical oral test.
How to apply
The application to participate in the selective procedure must be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, electronically, using the dedicated Unipa IT application.
To access the competition platform, candidates must use their SPID (Public Digital Identity System), selecting the University of Palermo among the institutions.
The following must be attached to the application for participation:
– copy of a valid identity document (front and back) (only if you do not access via SPID);
– copy of the tax code (only for Italian citizens. Only if you do not access via SPID);
– any other document required by the notice;
– receipt of payment of €10.00.
Interested parties must submit their application by May 30th.
