Yesterday, the divers from the Roseto degli Abruzzi unit intervened at the port of San Benedetto del Tronto in support of a team from the San Benedetto del Tronto fire brigade detachment, to proceed with the recovery of a fishing boat. The vessel, named “Mostrillo”, was docked at the port quay and was tilted on the starboard side, with the waterline significantly lowered due to the entry of water due to a leak in the hull. The divers dived to place polystere bands under the hull, so that they could lift the vessel with two large-capacity mobile cranes. Subsequently the firefighters put two motor pumps into operation to suck up the water on board. Once floated, the pre-vessel was towed by another fishing vessel to a nearby shipyard for the necessary repairs. The intervention activity was carried out with the coordination of the Port Authority of San Benedetto del Tronto.
