Tomorrow (April 26) at Simo Coffee at 4pm and 5pm the raids of Dance Meeting they will recall those moments of common life with a coffee, music, an improvised dance.
The Simo’s coffee it has always been a meeting place for the citizens of Lucca and local artists also spent time there. Stimulating discussions often arose over a coffee on the most varied topics which could then be the starting point for a new artistic project, a new initiative, an innovative proposal but also just an opportunity for fun and entertainment, light and evanescent conversations. Regular guests of the café were composers, such as Giacomo Puccini, Alfredo Catalani and Pietro Mascagni; and men of letters such as Giosuè Carducci, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Giovanni Pascoli and Enrico Pea.
The readings they will be curated by Ilaria Cipriani. They will perform the singers of the Boccherini Musical Conservatory: Lwaxana Borghetti, Angelica D’Agliano, Elena Pinciaroli the sopranos, Anna Cognetta on the piano and dancers Glenda D’Amanzo and Beatrice Bustone.
