They will end tomorrow evening, Friday 26 April the appointments of the series of conferences organized as part of the celebrations for centenary of the Province of La Spezia. Tomorrow, the last appointment, will be a somewhat special evening, accompanied by the multimedia exhibition and a concert by young talents from the Cardarelli musical high school and the Costa classical high school.

Once again we will talk about the history of the territory and the institution. The theme of the evening, as part of the main theme along which the century of life of the Province was revived, is dedicated to the figure of the poet and writer Ettore Cozzani and to the chronicles of the magazine “L’Eroica” who recounted, in those years, the constitution of the Province. For the occasion, Marco Biagioni will speak on: “1911: The birth in La Spezia of “L’Eroica” by Ettore Cozzani”, Giovanni Pardi on: “Music and Architecture meet Poetry” and Fabrizio Ferrari on “The Government Palace, heritage of citizens. Story of a perfect contract”, moderated by Cinzia Forma. The last appointment, in this review which is part of the in-depth moments dedicated to the birth, economic and social development, art and sport, for the 100 years of life of the province of La Spezia, will be enriched by the presentation of the anastatic couple of ” L’eroica”, with an intervention by Massimiliano Ghirlanda of Euroguarco who will pay homage to the publication.

The conference will be accompanied by singing performances by Elena Caruso, student of class 5E of the “Lorenzo Costa” Classical High School, therefore starting from 9pm there will be performances by the students of the Cardarelli musical high school. We will start with the students of Professor Giuseppe Tropeano’s guitar class (Ginevra Benettini, Lorenzo Cerisola, Nicolò Dido, Lara Peoni, Lorenzo Perutelli and Alice Zignego), then with the singing class of Professor Stefania Pietropaolo, Emma Daniele, from the saxophone class of Professor Valentina Renesto, Simone Tarantino, from the bassoon class of Professor Luigi Tedone, Giuliano Cecchi and from the violin class of Professor Francesca Coppelli, Pierpaolo Tarantino, all accompanied on the piano by Professor Lucio Colella.

Also for Friday evening, as well as for all the other three occasions, at the end of the meetings the historical halls of the Government Palace and the exhibition of documents relating to the foundation of the organisation, all through an immersive journey dedicated to the characters and the 32 municipalities of the area. It starts at 6pm, when the doors of the Government Palace and the provincial council room, in Via Vittorio Veneto n. 2, will also be open again for those who just want to see the display of memorabilia or simply access the rooms on the second floor of the building where the offices with period furniture are located, all through an immersive path, among images, lights and sounds, or rather a multimedia passage lasting one hundred years.

It will thus be possible to relive, as a sort of prologue while waiting for the conference or concert, the historical phase of the history of the birth of the Institution, including the reading, by Vittorio Emanuele III himself, of the decree establishing the Province of La Spezia, this thanks to a voice reconstruction program that reproduced the original voice of the sovereign. For the occasion, the Euroguarco Society will give the participants a small volume collecting the speakers’ testimonies. The exhibition/immersive itinerary will be open to visitors from the end of the conference until 11pm.
