CROTONE All ready for 17th edition of the “Franco Razionale” sports journalism awardpromoted by“Forza Crotone Alè” association and dedicated to the memory of the Crotone journalist, historical voice of the radio commentary of the matches of the Crotone football.
This afternoon the names of the winners were announced during a press conference attended by organizers of the event Peiro Pili and Claudio Regalinothe component of the association Carmen Giancotti and Giuseppe Mercurio representing the initiative’s partners.
The appointment with the plaque delivery ceremony is for this Friday (May 10th) at 6pm in the council room of the Municipality of Crotone. Special guest will be Rai journalist, Marco Civolihistorical voice of AI radio commentary 2006 World Cup (won by Italy)together with which we will discuss sporting loyalty.
The section dedicated to journalistic awards for this year it will be assigned not only to the journalist Civoli, but also to the newspaper “the Kr Province” and to its publisher, Antonio Carellawhich has been operating in the area since 1994. They will then be crowned for the athletes section Fabrizio Ruggiero, “Wako Pro” kickboxing world champion in 2023; with him also the amateur football club “Aek Crotone”, winner of the championship and the Calabria Cup for the First Category; and a third prize will be awarded to surfcasting in the field of sport fishing. The review of recognitions concludes with that of friends of the association which will see among the winners the“Vittorio Alfieri” comprehensive institute of Crotone and his manager Gisella Pariseand a plaque will also be dedicated to Franco Monea, owner of the floral art business of the same name in the city.
