Federica Poggio: “Initiatives like this are created to raise public awareness of dance as a form of artistic expression”
Fiumicino, 25 April 2024- Il April 29, on the occasion of “World Dance Day”, established to celebrate dance as a universal art form and promote its cultural diversity, the Administration of Fiumicino will offer students from dance schools throughout the municipality the opportunity to participate free of charge in a masterclass held by nationally renowned teachers, at the Salsedine expo in Via della Scafa 146. Starting from 3pm to 7pm There will be classical, modern and hip hop dance workshops dedicated to both beginners and intermediate/advanced level students.
“Initiatives like this are created to raise public awareness of dance as a form of artistic expression and a means of social communication- declares the Councilor for Sport and Culture, Federica Poggio who will be present on the day “Fiumicino Dance”sponsored by the Municipality- an inclusive tool, dance, which involves people of all ages and stimulates the psycho-physical well-being of adults and children. This is why we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to participate in such a prestigious masterclass on a day dedicated not only to dance lovers but also to anyone who wants to live this experience for the first time.”
