Pistoia – Tuscany in Bocca: program for today 25 April. Lots of dishes, music and entertainment

Pistoia, 24 April 2024. Now we’re really here: Tuscany in your mouth officially returns to Pistoia after five years: the ribbon cutting is scheduled for tomorrow Thursday 25 April at 12.30pm to the former Breda Cathedral for the food and wine event which in previous editions attracted tens of thousands of enthusiasts, curious and “greedy” people from all over Tuscany and beyond.

After greetings from organizers, institutions, sponsors and partners, the event – with free entry – will begin with the first lunch of this edition (the seventh in chronological order): visitors will be able to draw on 60 different courses prepared by 30 of the best Tuscan restaurateurs. The menu will wink at tradition, opening up to reinterpretations in a contemporary key. The event will be open every day, from 25th to 28th April, from 12pm to midnight.

After lunch, at 3.00pm, here is the first event, which will be dedicated to children: a Workshop for little chefs curated by Wonderpark, with local raw materials. At 4.30pm it will be time for the first Cooking Show together with the restaurateurs of La Toscana in Bocca, while at 5.30 pm – in the Experience Area – the tastings of local products made available by Coldiretti Pistoia will start.

The approach to dinner will be seasoned with a second Cooking Show (at 6pm) and one tasting guided by Ais with pairing of wines and raw materials (at 7pm).

The show continues, after dinner (from 10pm), with the live performance on the stage Gary Baldi Bros (exclusive interview): the group will transport the audience through the nostalgic atmospheres of 90s music, with an eclectic 2.0 reinterpretation.

During the four days of the event it will be possible to change money at the cash registers, which will distribute them special chips the Mouths, respectively worth 50 cents, 1 euro and 10 euros. The prices of the dishes can be defined as “calmed”: first and second courses have a maximum price of 10 euros (10 mouthfuls). In many cases, half portions are also provided for a tasting journey.
