L’AQUILA – This afternoon the 96th Congress of the Italian Society of Experimental Biologya company founded in 1925 and chaired by Prof. Francesco Cappello of the University of Palermo.
The event, sponsored by the University of L’Aquila, the Regional Council of Abruzzo, the Municipality of L’Aquila and the Department of Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Life and Environmental Sciences of Univaq, will be held at the underground room of Hemicycle Palacefrom the 25 to 28 April.
The 96th SIBS Congress is this year chaired by Prof. Maria Grazia Palmeriniprofessor of Human Anatomy of the MESVA Department and by Prof. Guido Macchiarelli, Director of the MESVA Department, as Honorary President. The event, of national importance, will bring 150 scientists from all over Italy and experts from various disciplines in the fields of experimental biology, based on the science of life, to the city of culture.
The 2024 edition is characterized by a very high presence of young researchers who will present the latest innovations in their experimental research to the public, highlighting the value of scientific research for the new generations.
The inaugural ceremony will be held today at 5 pm, in the presence of the Magnificent Rector of the University of L’Aquila, the Prof. Edoardo Alessefrom the Dr. Tiziana Del Beatomunicipal councilor, of the President of SIBS, Prof. Francesco Cappello he was born in Prof. Guido MacchiarelliDirector of the MESVA Department.
